Share your love of colour (your submission can be monochrome or multicoloured) with us, and with those that visit the Carre Gallery during our upcoming group exhibition: For The Love Of Colour.

We are looking to fill the Carre Gallery with colour, and we need your help! Submissions are invited for our For The Love Of Colour group exhibition, running from 28th May to 11th June.

We will consider 2D works in any media (excluding moving image) and works can be monochrome or multicoloured - we just want to know how the colour(s) you've worked with is/are important to you and your work.

Key information:

  • It is free to submit
  • If selected, a participation fee of £20 will be payable by each artist, payable upon issue of an invoice and in advance of the exhibition. We reserve the right to select more than one work from each accepted artist but this will NOT increase the participation fee
  • If your work(s) have been selected and are available to buy, we will charge a 25% commission on any sales. If you are not offering your work to buy, that is fine
  • We would encourage artists to also supply up to 10 prints of their work, which would be liable to a 25% commission
  • Abstract, figurative, landscape, portraiture - as long as your work has colour and you can articulate why colour is important to you and your work - we will consider your submission
  • Artworks MUST be delivered to the gallery in person (or by a representative) between 22nd and 25th May, without exception
  • Artowrks MUST be supplied hang-ready: D-rings attached, and securely strung. We reserve the right to reject artworks that are not delivered hang-ready
  • Any unsold artworks MUST be collected from the gallery between 12th and 15th June, without exception
  • Priority will be given to artists based in Lincolnshire / East Midlands
  • We are not inviting or accepting submissions from outside the UK
