Description:

You can now submit your work for our new Open Call "MUSE"! 

Inspiration can come from many different sources, including nature, other people, personal experiences and more.

What provides you with creative inspiration? What drives your imagination, makes you want to create, and emboldens your practice?

In mythology, the Muses were nine goddesses who symbolised the arts and sciences.

Whether your muse is a person or something else which plays a role in your artistic development as a source of inspiration, creativity, and motivation, we would like to hear from you.

This call is for artists working in all mediums of original 2D and 3D artwork, from paintings, drawings, sculptures, and photography, including digital and video.

Please ensure you have read through the submission's guidelines and rules properly before submitting your work.

Large wall work must not exceed  60cm x  80cm (to include any mount/frame).

3D work should have a maximum footprint of 70cm x 70cm x 70cm.

Images

• You can submit up to 10 images, max 4MB each. 

Acceptance into the exhibition

• Successful applicants will be notified by email.
• Artists are responsible for delivering or shipping their works to us by using reliable couriers to ensure a timely delivery. 

Costs:

• £35 per selected artwork.
• As well as having a physical presence, all artworks will be featured online.

Who:

Artists at all levels. All mediums are accepted.

• The theme is open to interpretation.
• We offer you a platform to showcase, promote and sell your artworks via our art gallery and our Instagram via Art Magnitude.
• Submitting your work is free of charge,
• There is a 25% commission on sales.
• If artists are not able to collect unsold works after the show has ended, we can return your works to you by courier or post.

The Fox Yard Studio - Art Gallery forms part of the Design Quarter of Stowmarket, which includes the Modece Architects, the Pallet Bar and Artspace. These creative spaces are all integral components of the Old Fox Yard and the social life of the town of Stowmarket, which is found in the heart of Suffolk.
