The deadline for this opportunity has passed, and no more submissions are being accepted. Click here to have a look at other opportunities listed on CuratorSpace.

In early January we will be putting together an exhibition of mental health related artwork, which will be on display in the 2nd floor galleries at Dewsbury Museum throughout the first quarter of the year.

We are interested to hear from artists, groups, collectives and arts/mental health organisations. Previously exhibited projects may be submitted, and indeed may work well due to the short notice on this particular opportunity.

We are happy to discuss all ideas relating to this broad subject; work which either has emerged as a by-product of mental health issues, or work which seeks to explore mental health issues and their (potentially) disabling effects. As well as visual art, written work (poetry etc) which could be interspersed throughout the exhibition would be welcomed.
