Hannah Pratt London, United Kingdom
I am a multidisciplinary artist whose practice sits between the subjects of art and science, in particular creating a new relationship between art, data and astronomy.
My work centres around finding new ways to link the two through collaborations and partnerships with artists and scientists. I work with creative practitioners such as musicians and other visual artists to help to create a library of responses to contemporary scientific research. My main subjects of focus are astronomy, the future of space travel, data literacy and climate change. I use these subject matters to explore narratives and contexts to raise awareness of issues affecting our lives in the world today. I work in a number of mediums including print, painting, fibre art and music. I have exhibited and taken part in residencies extensively and most recently my work was sent into space as part of the Art in Space programme run by Planet Labs.
