I am a tapestry artist, weaver and textile designer based in creative studios in Newcastle upon Tyne. My background is as a professional artist before evolving into textiles. I like to use my colour knowledge with fibre creating unique items for people and their homes - such as framed tapestry art, rug making, woven cushions/bags etc.
I am drawn to colour and love to create modern hand woven textiles. I combine my skill of art and weaving/sewing to create unique items for people and their homes. I am completely self taught in all I do. I have been weaving for just under 3 years and now have a weaving studio incorporating many looms, spinning wheels and workshop area.
