A relative newcomer to the world of art. Winner of the King Lear Prize for Art (Beginners) 2023. Working mostly in acrylics but also in pencil. I have an eclectic range of paintings from pop art to seascapes, cloud studies and flowers to pencil drawings. Currently I am experimenting with pallet knife painting and achieving some interesting results.
Painting and drawing mostly for fun, though I have taken part in several art fairs and undertaken a view commissions. My greetings cards can be found onsale at two local retail outlets in York. I have this year (2024) had artwork accepted for exhibition at the Badger in the Wall Gallery in Clapham, North Yorkshire, The Open Gallery Halifax and Doncaster Open Online Exhibition. I participated in the York River Art Market again this August and will be participating in the Haxby and Wigginton Art Group Exhibition in October, The Flat Art Society York Exhibition in November and the Haxby Christmas Fair in December.
