I graduated with a B.A (Hons) in Art &Design in 2000 and worked as Artist in residence at a Hospice until 2015 at the same time developing my own practice. I have shown regularly with York Open Studios and am pleased to welcome visitors to my studio in my home in York
I am primarily a painter of landscapes based on travels at home and abroad but I also work in the medium of print , mainly collagraph,lino or monoprint I am interested in the marks left by man on the land and try to express this in my work through the use of texture colour and mark making I work from memory or notetaking and enjoy experimentation using different tools to achieve the marks I'm trying to make.
