Art is a way to articulate the human condition. I’ve always been on a path to produce the best art I can and am very excited by the possibilities that my constant experimenting enables. The magic journey of creation, wowing yourself with results as the work becomes a way to integrate ideas on life into a unique product to share with others.
Starting out painting on canvas I’ve pushed my work into three dimensions, switching from canvas to painting on found objects to creating 3D multimedia diorama-like pieces in resin. I previously painted on woodblocks building up layers of varnish and paint to such an extent that I eventually saw that the block itself should be transparent in order to hold separate the layers of work , instead of them altogether on the one plain and details being overcrowded, lost, overdone. I feel my best work has been developing over the last 2 years and am looking forward to realising it and sharing here.
