Start the new year on a positive note by being part of The New Dawn, our first show of the year 2025 at Fox Yard Studio. New Year is a synonym for fresh beginnings, a time for reflection, and a chance to make new resolutions. With only a few weeks to go before this year ends, we are inviting artists to participate in our upcoming show, The New Dawn, which looks forward to the new year 2025 with a sense of faith and optimism. It will run from January 10th to 21st, with a private view reception on Friday, January 10th, 6-8 pm.

Fox Yard Studio aims to support deserving artists of all art forms and at all stages of their careers.  We celebrate our artists across our media, exhibiting their skills in our gallery and online.

Our focus is to sponsor a platform for artists to promote collaboration and enrich cultural learning and understanding across the arts. We also bring practitioners together to further their discipline to institutional validation and to offer professional opportunities.
Dates:

Application submission deadline for "THE NEW DAWN": 29th December 2024, 11.59 pm.

Announcement: By 30th December, notification by email

Exhibition dates: 10th - 21st January 2025

Private View: 10th January, 6 pm to 8 pm.  Our special guest for the event will be the artist Marie Grueberova who is launching her new published children's book. Free to attend.

Submissions:

Please ensure you have read through the submission's guidelines and rules properly before submitting your work.

Size

Wall work must not exceed 60cm x 80cm (to include any mount/frame). 

3D work should have a maximum footprint of 60cm x 60cm x 100cm.

Images

• You can submit up to 10 images, max 4MB each, for consideration.
• You can also send us links to your videos and performances.

Successful artists are welcome to send their work by post. If artists cannot collect unsold works after the show has ended, we can return your works to you by post or courier.

Acceptance into the exhibition:

• Successful applicants will be notified by email.
• Artists are responsible for delivering or shipping their works to us by using reliable couriers to ensure timely delivery. 
• Digital and video works will be displayed digitally on a 46" monitor in our art gallery at Fox Yard Studio. Files of selected works can be sent to us by email or WeTransfer.

Costs:

• £30 per selected work.
• As well as having a physical presence, artworks will be featured online.

Who:

Artists at all levels. All media types are welcome.

Applicants are not required to be local.  All works are to be presentable, framed (if applicable) and delivered under the responsibility of each selected artist by the given deadlines.

• We offer you a platform to showcase, promote and sell your artworks via our art gallery and our Instagram via Art Magnitude.
• Submitting your work is free of charge,
• There is a 25% commission on Sales for physical works.
