My work becomes a ritual—a communion with the ancient and the contemporary. I walk in the rich ancestry of my multi-racial heritage, threading alternative concepts and perspectives into the very fabric of my creations. With subtle humour and convicted passion, I stroll into the realms of social and political discourse. My artwork, often becoming a mirror reflecting the complexities of our world. I work as an experimental Artist...allowing intuition to initiate.
My current practice is focused towards my pagan ancestory and the ritulistic. As an ecofeminist artist, I respect the rhythms and cycles of nature, reflecting on themes of life and death, and our ephemeral existence. My work is influenced by the sounds, shapes, and spirits of the natural environment. By using natural clay, homemade charcoal, and pigments, I align my artistic practice with sustainable principles, drawing directly from the earth to create my pieces. Recycling water and harvesting solar power are integrated into my environment.
