    Based in the UK East Midlands, I became a full time artist in 2019. Semi abstract in nature, my work combines a fine art background and a long held fascination with wood in all forms.     I'm a British sculptor from Northumberland. I make sculptures in concrete which are either hand built or cast. I studied art in London, initially at the Sir John Cass School of Art, and then at Central Saint Martin’s majoring in sculpture, and drawing at the Royal College of Art.

    My name is Vic Wright and l'm a sculptor based in the North West of England. My pieces are often the result of experimenting and manipulating core materials. Typically my work takes the form of unique casts. Using a base of fine casting cement different materials such as metal powders and pigments are added. When drying this results in different textures, colours and surfaces.
