    Rachel Anderson is a textile artist and designer working from East Yorkshire. Primarily specialising in freemotion machine embroidery, Rachel also works with fabric design, mark making and other textile techniques. Her textile works often combine structure and fluidity, designing fabrics based on hand marbled prints which juxtapose the rigidity of the drawn elements that sit on the surface.

    My motivation often comes from the challenge of transforming and exploiting objects then trying to give them new uses. I enjoy keeping the original object recognisable so then it has a dual personality. Many of my projects and products have been interactive, in a residency last year I was able to create larger pieces using rope and objects that people could interactive and play with.

    Shona Davies and Jon Klein both studied at Sir John Cass College of Art where they graduated in 2007 with first class honours. They were also joint recipients of the Owen Rowley Prize and John Cass Purchase prize. Klein specialised in Time Based Media and Davies in Printmaking and 3-D. Dave Monaghan studied at Liverpool and Canterbury Colleges of Art where he specialised in sculpture.

    I am a mixed media artist and Designer/ Maker I have always been interested in interdisciplinary or mixed-media arts exploring different mediums, i trained in the North East of England at university of Northumbria in Newcastle. recently designing and building structures for festival installation.     Through my work I want to explore the mythological representation of women and how stories have been influenced and reengineered by patriarchy. How women have been written out of folklore and how stories have been changed to fit in with this ideology.

    My name is Vic Wright and l'm a sculptor based in the North West of England. My pieces are often the result of experimenting and manipulating core materials. Typically my work takes the form of unique casts. Using a base of fine casting cement different materials such as metal powders and pigments are added. When drying this results in different textures, colours and surfaces.

    Recent graduate of a first class degree in BA (Hons) Fine Art at the Northern School of Art. I enjoy the process of investigating landscape via graphite, paint, photography and collage.     I am a picassiette mosaic artist working in and around Derbyshire. As an Integrated arts graduate I am interested in the juxtaposition of work and its environment and how placing can alter or affect meaning. A recent mosaic for Buxton Station gave viewers an insight into the plight of the rare Bilberry Bee and was positioned to lead the viewer on a journey to the bees habitat a short walk away
