    Michel Ducos is a potter, sculptor and Art facilitator based in Alford, Lincolnshire. Having been a professional potter with his wife, Heather, since 1972 as Alford Pottery, for the last 20 years or so, ceramic sculpture has become an all engrossing activity which sits comfortably alongside the daily pottery work.

    I am a painter and mixed media artist based in London, originally from Italy. With my artworks, I tackle issues that are relevant to today’s political and cultural landscape.     For the last few years, I have tried to paint in a way that no other artist paints. I do not see the point of painting in a similar way to other artists. For THE NATURE OF THINGS series, I have found a new way of applying paint to figurative paintings. In the MEMORY AND DESIRE series I paint initially conventionally, but then cover the picture with a monochrome colour.
