    I am a painter who is interested in people, places, objects and groups in society. My role as a teacher informs my work and I often respond to my immediate environment. Painting offers a special opportunity to combine imagery, technique and art historical references to tell stories and suggest ideas. The act of looking, drawing and the physical mixing and application of colour are important to me.

    Teresa is a British/Maltese mixed media abstract artist who after returning to art as a mature student, completed an MA in Art and Science at Central Saint Martins in 2020.     I am an artist and freelance curator. I hold an MA in Contemporary Curation from Norwich University of the Arts. I have been sculpting professionally since 2011.     I am a photographer and a qualified teacher. I tutor workshops in basic digital photography and cyanotype printing. My main practice is in documentary photography. I also have a passion for Camera Obscura and have designed and built my own portable CO. Inspired by largescale artworks I also have a passion for light paintings and abstractions made at night.
