    Cat is a visual artist based in Mid-Wales whose work focuses on portraiture and the figure. Primarily painting in oils, and drawing in charcoal and pastels, her work is imaginative and often has one foot in history or reality, whilst the other dabbles in myth or daydreams.

    Trained, practiced and taught Graphic Design turned to Printmaking as a main practice since 2017. Concentrated on Linocut initially predominantly 'Reduction'. Recently returned to college for an Adult learning Printmaking course and introduced to Tetrapak, Drypoint, Aquatint and other Intaglio processes which has expanded my outlook on many other possibilities and approaches.

    I am a painter living and working in London. Working primarily in oils and mixed media to create works that move between abstraction, figuration, and imagined space.
