Dan Horrigan is a video artist who makes feeling possible where it was previously impossible. He fronts Covert Firmament: dedicated to work that could not be made by any other collective. We've been making feeling possible since 2020.

Lines of flight ignite along a rhizomatic network that constellates exactly what I need you to see. Starts with drawing images and words and through a process of refinement and collaboration ends with video art.

Here's a poem I'm working on that will become a short video:

The mad piss in the streets Check-in then check-out Heads down discreet Syphilitic with doubts Now watch them go out there Put it about No better than beasts No purchase no will I put them under and settle the bill

They get my script then crunch their pills Mans meant for freedom All of them ill When I look in what do I see? Some aberration grinning at me

Yeah piss on the wall fall in the street There’s rhyme for reason There’s wit to keep So you’re mad in this way? And now here with me I’ll crack it wide open And then we can see

I’m a man of letters I got my tam There’s a problem? There’s a pill we coin man for man So dance dear loon through this heathen city You were only born poor there have my pity Yes, yes, my nut I feel your pain The fear right there? We have a name Confirmed through science All categories tight There’s no doubt it's a long harsh night

You’re but an ass with irregular pulse Not hard enough at it Where it matters the most Just ask that woman you always let down And the only revolution Coming to town Is chemical castration Total shutdown You’ll take what you’re given And be in no doubt There’s a man for your lady And you have no shout
