I`m a self taught artist from London, and started painting only few years ago despite always having a natural flair for drawing and creating. My pieces have a laid back simplicity with a modern touch, and are inspired by my upbringing in Lithuania. My art works are abstract realism. Painting for me is a poetic expression, a state of mind. The colours are the `language of my soul.`
When I paint I transfer the feelings and emotions on canvas. I am in constant need of exploration with colours. It is my meditation. I know a piece of art is finished when I am filled with a sense of extreme ecstasy. Acrylic has become my material of choice because of its rich, thick texture and quick dry and I love that this medium can keep up with the flow of my ideas. I create art work that is both an expression of my life and the world around me in a joyous, uplifting way. In a world where so much darkness exists, I choose to be a light of positivity.
