I am an art producer, activist and community builder, movement practitioner and performance artist. Central to my thinking is the dismantlement and mobilization of old structures, imagery and languages, which oppress women’s sense of identity and freedom. I use the body with an interest in feminisms, migration, body politics, social constructions and sexualities.

I explore movement in performance, creating images as a form of activism. I use somatic movement, the body and its material, scores and losses for personal and collective discoveries. I challenge the perception of the self and how I incorporate roles related to my inner freedom against outside restrictions.

Central to my thinking is the dismantlement and mobilization of old structures, imagery and languages, which oppress women’s sense of identity and freedom and casts them in tight roles and restricted ways of manifestation.

Using the body, photography and video work I also research the presence and absence of the children in creative practices and how that plays an important component in the tailoring of women’s identity and ability of authentic expression.
