Ellen Paige Leach is a New Media artist living and working in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Ellen has a BA honours degree in Fine Art from Falmouth University and works as a full-time artist. Using digital photography to document, Ellen immerses herself in the environment focusing on shape, colour and texture. Her process involves breaking images apart until they become something new.
Disruption. Malfunction. Corruption.
Using photographic material from the landscape I use ever changing digital devices as a medium to create malfunctioning imagery. Focussing on the data that makes up the fabric of the image, I aim to highlight beauty within imperfection. A process that produces the unexpected and unpredictable.
