I am a multidisciplinary artist with an MA Fine Art from Goldsmiths College. I am interested in the juncture between art, medicine, and forensics, informed by my experience as a former medic. Selected exhibitions include Pratt Manhattan Gallery, New York; Ludwig Museum of Contemporary Art, Budapest; Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, London. One of my works is in the Arts Council England Collection.

I work in a range of media, including photography, film, sculpture and installation.

My process is often interdisciplinary and collaborative, involving in-depth engagement with my collaborators and extensive research into the subject. The topics I have explored include mental illness, disfigurement, blindness, forensics, and the phantom limb phenomenon.

My current project 'Apparitions' centers on an archive of glass plate negatives of portraits of patients in Victorian mental asylums, supported by an artist residency at King’s College, London.

I have also been immersed in the field of forensic anthropology and crime scene investigation, working with forensic anthropologists at two UK universities. The resulting works include a multisensory installation that centers on an original scent of death perfume (Thanatos), a series of photographs taken at the Crime Scene House (Teesside University), and glass objects etched with fingerprints of people of historical interest.

My work has been exhibited across the UK and internationally. I have received exhibition prizes awarded by Victoria Miro at Creekside Open and by Yinka Shonibare MBE at Shape Open, London, and included in the Aesthetica Art Prize: Future Now anthology 2021. I am also a recipient of grants from Arts Council England, British Council and Leverhulme Trust.
