I am a Redcar raised photographer who seeks meaning in the mundane. I prefer black and white photography , but not exclusively. I use any camera I have to hand working with Fuji X-H1, Pro 1, X-E1, Canon 200D, 5D mkiii, and film photography using the Canon AE-1, Prakitka and the medium format plastic fantastic Holga 120N. I tell stories through photography and hope you can find your story in them.

I am an MA Photography student at Falmouth University, working under some of the most amazing professional photographer imaginable. My upbringing on the North East informs much of my work, whether that be the industrial backdrop of 70s Teesside to old black and white movies that I used to watch on my old portable TV. I like to find my own meaning in my photographs and hope that the viewer can not only feel that, but see something of their own story in them too.

I will literally use any camera to hand, taking advantage of my iPhone camera and a little Fuji Instax if they are what I have to hand. I have had work published in 265 magazine. Although I am a private person, working with people and trying to catch the unposed moments is what appeals to me because I believe that we see more of the person behind the image, though not image is ever truly representative of the truth, I feel we see more of the human in those unposed images.

I often just walk and take photos, though I am not an 'in your face' photographer, I prefer natural unexpected images.
