I am a visual artist exploring themes of social change, cultural identity, and faith to promote positive action and evoke strong emotional connections. Working primarily with ballpoint pens and oil paints, I create realistic yet visually impactful figurative works inspired by nature, and my faith. My work has been exhibited at RBSA Gallery and the Descending Eye exhibition amongst others.

My artistic practice begins with an idea or message I want to convey, often inspired by research, personal reflection, or a concept I wish to express. I start by sketching and exploring the idea until it gains clarity, channeling my thoughts into a strong visual narrative. I primarily work with ballpoint pens for my drawings and oil paints for paintings. My attachment to ballpoint pens stems from my early years, when they were an easily overlooked medium, allowing me to create intricate, lifelike drawings. My technique with the ballpoint pen involves detailed cross-hatching and shading, resulting in hypnotic, intertwining lines that draw viewers closer to admire the craftsmanship and the story within. My goal is to evoke intellectual connection and admiration for the beauty, spontaneity, and movement in my art, while leaving room for open-ended interpretations.
