Jude is a mixed media and textile artist, based in Kent. She teaches extensively in Europe and has exhibited Internationally in both solo and group shows.

She works with cloth and with paper. Her working processes include screen printing, break down printing, mark making, printing and layering colour. Often beginning with large pieces of either fabric or paper, using vintage cloth and old books, that will be cut up to form a series of work. These smaller pieces will then be over dyed with Indigo dye using a variety of Shibori techniques. The final layer is hand stitching.

Her inspirations come from many sources, including nature, the environment, poetry, song lyrics, other artists and her love of travelling.
