He has been working mainly in print, using a variety of methods including lino, drypoint etching, monotypes and cyanotypes. Loves a project that involves being out in the environment, land or water, usually through solo experiences. Currently making a series of works using the Polaroid Lift process, exploring the process, learning through successes and frustrations, creating limited editions. He starts with images collected during his travels and work, often finding himself in unusual places / views, through kayaking, sailing, open water swimming, climbing and hill walking. Distracted by ongoing struggle between public access and conservation, and concerned about the evolving relationship between people, nature and land owners.
