Female Artist who's work is an abstract reference to simple moments of the everyday, working in an array of mediums, digital painting, film and installation

I examine notions of the everyday, explicitly the passing of time. I make work in response to everything that surrounds me as everywhere holds an opportunity. I contemplate neurodiversity and how individuals respond to ever-changing conditions. I use imagery as a language to show how our visual senses can be responsible for specific reactions to what is happening around us. In addition, the notion of imagery as a language to express these feelings and responses. While the everyday can at times feel repetitive, there is satisfaction in discovering and appreciating the beauty in monotony, whether it be a new form or feeling of insight. These instances allow a sense of tranquillity or calm in and amongst the everyday. It is in capturing these moments, I hope to harness the feeling of contentment, a new awareness of being wholly present. I am enamoured by the presence of light, how it illustrates various feelings and perhaps offers a sculptural form to what is not of any physicality but harnesses the ability to alter the ambiance of the space. Likewise, I respect how light is a representation of time passed.
