I work with oils on canvas to create semi realistic images and portraits of animals and birds with a mystical feel, allowing a glimpse into the ethereal beauty of the natural world.
I am based in Cheshire and work with oils on canvas and board to create what I like to call "a glimpse into the ethereal beauty of the natural world". Nature is my solace and my muse and I want to share that with others. I want my art to be more than realistic, to represent the otherworldly spirit of nature.
The natural world is essential to my creative thinking, surrounded by towering trees and overwhelmed by the timeless qualities of the forest and the wildlife that inhabits it, my love of nature and interest in mythology infuses my art with a characteristic glow and reveals the fragile splendour of the outside world.
