I am a photographer from Colorado, USA but I now live in London after living in Paris. I am endlessly inspired by the visual feasts I encounter in my travels around the world. I am a lover of life and my my most favorite thing to do is to capture beautiful and profound moments with my camera.

I am creative director and photographer living in London. I have traveled a lot with my guitarist partner, Robben Ford and have drawn a lot of photo inspiration from my travels (including many photos of his guitars.) I started out taking spontaneous photos with my iPhone 16 and Leica phone cameras to capture the many moments that inspire me. I have only more recently moved to a mirrorless Sony A7IV camera. Many have commented that I see things that others may not. It’s the simplest things that inspire me. I am continually struck by the small beauty unfolding in a passing moment and the longing to capture it. My photography is about seeing the awake essence of an image and in many cases this is abstract. Photography as abstract art. Many times, we are not sure WHAT the photo is, and we are left with just the pure beauty of the image itself without a label. All of my photos are “signed” with my personal Japanese seal which says “Milam” translated as “dream.” Because life’s fleeting moments are like a dream.
