After many years as a hairdresser and salon owner at the age of 59 I started to paint. What started as a hobby quickly became an obsession , and now my second and only career.
My paintings in Watercolour, Mixed Media or Acrylic aim to capture Land, Sea , and Sky …But most importantly light space and an Escape. often the paintings can appear highly detailed but this is an illusion from within the carefully created paint textures and finishes. on viewing a painting the time of day ,season and weather are all there but rarely buildings or peaple that could gve awy the date past present or future.
