Rosy is a mixed media artist currently working with film photography and acrylic paint. She is inspired by the power of nature on the footprint of humankind.

My attention is drawn to derelict houses and nature. The prevailing force of plants and their ability to engulf and consume our past when it is discarded. The calming knowledge that when we’re gone, Earth continues as we diminish as leaves that are trampled in Autumn. I play with concepts in whatever form takes me at the time of beginning a new project- lately this has been sculptural with paper and card. I reflect on these for a time and they inspire the steps until a new form is created with whatever medium is begged for (I often find myself learning how to use new materials!)
