I’m a wood sculptor based in North Wales, working internationally, and I’ve been making a living as an artist for 20 years. I adore sculpting the human form, and I have a particular love for folk tales and historical subjects. My intention is to make the viewer feel like they’ve experienced part of a story through the movement and pose of my work.

I love shaping natural materials, and wood in particular always has a story to tell. Every growth ring has something to say, and the touch and feel of wood brings warmth and connection to the earth. My focus is on the story of the subject, where are they looking? what are they thinking? I have fun with my work and never take myself too seriously.
