I am an illustrator who worked in pen and ink first, then explores the lines and images I create over different surfaces.

I am a pen and ink artist, I hand draw images inspired both by natural forms and the traditional pattern and surface of hand-painted ceramics. I often choose to illustrate moments from narratives, or create images which have a narrative component, bringing to the lush detail, intense pattern and often stretched or unreal perspectives. I often look to translate these further into three dimensional pieces, as interior lighting, ceramics, jewellery and wall art which casts shadows in the space it’s hung. I am drawn both to rugged landscapes where sea meets rock, intricate interiors and strange juxtapositions which both amuse and intrigue.
