Tina Culverhouse (b. 1969) is an artist based in London and France. She has recently been awarded as a Fellow of Digswell Arts Trust (24-29), Hertfordshire. Tina completed the Turps Banana Mass Programme studio based 21/23 and off-site 23/24. She graduated from the University of Hertfordshire Creative School as a Master of Fine Arts (Distinction) in September 2021.

In making sculpture Tina Culverhouse uses a sense of grounding and balance to build intricate structures with resistant materials. Through the making a sense of memory and temporality is imbued allowing the material object to take on a sense of the place it is set within. Her vibrant practice incorporates diverse media initiating conversations on the fragility of life.

Second Nature

Sculpture is 'second nature' to Changeable Beast and guests at Cornwall's beautiful Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens this coming August. Tessa Garland, lead curator, asks the question 'Where does nature end and we begin; where does the world become not nature?' The 29 artists interpret this question in varying media and materials.
