I love to create - both art and music. I compose extensively for schools and more recently for TV. My art expresses my love of nature and light.
I love colour, and I love Nature. I am always fascinated in the way light changes the appearance of a scene - and one of my favourite times of day is when the light is fading, and colours become deeper.
My work is detailed and quite naturalistic - but often I accentuate the colours in a scene.
I work mainly in acrylics on canvas, but also in watercolour and gouache. I have undertaken a number of professional commissions in the last few years - mainly portraits and pets.
I am always very happy to discuss commissions if you have a favourite scene, a portrait, or a pet which needs capturing for posterity!
