Life is complicated and untidy.

My ceramic tile and sculptues concentrates on personal journeys we take. I incorporate familiar objects that introducing light humour to balance the seriousness of life. Currently my work presents a quirky and humorous take on the trials and tribulations of being parent. Embedded within the pieces are mementoes that link to childhood memory. I utilise cast replicas of toys and impressed detail to illustrate comical scenarios that happen around me. My pieces explore emotions and concentrating on the relationships within our family. A playful approach is used to highlight dreams and fears for my children’s future.

I have been a lead facilitating artist for several years and I have worked with various companies on many creative projects. I have deliver workshops with a wide variety of groups, in a number of different communities, ranging from preschool to residential homes.
