Scott Gibson (aka El Relleno) London, United Kingdom
El Relleno (sometimes referred to as "the filling") has been interrupted many times in his life. He sought answers to these objections to his existence and found solace in art. He has been taking photographs of nature this past year and the results have led him to believe that he has found the answer to everything. All he has to do now is make friends.
Where to begin with El Relleno? That's Spanish for "the filling". He is my alter ego. He makes comedic gift cards and is considered to be everything. He didn't realise it would be uncomfortable. El Relleno's dream of saving the world and all the animals has changed direction so it's time to focus on making enough money to buy sugary snacks and vegan treats hence why I have approached you today. I'm used to customer facing and dealing with the public as you can tell from my job history. I was so good in my last job at a Covid test site that they offered me a supervisory role but I was too busy working on my Art to take the job. They had already generously awarded me employee of the month and a £10 Amazon gift voucher. I'm looking for something for 6 months to a year and if things go well maybe more. I recently spent a month living on the streets of Paris trying to convince art galleries (unsuccessfully) that they should buy my work. Seriously, you tell them you could be receiving warnings about the end of the world and they just nod and say they aren't interested. I'm not necessarily telling you this. Just saying. Thankfully the Parisien art world has had a change of heart and they recently selected me as a finalist for the prestigious Prix Camera Clara (hopefully the message got through). I am really looking forward to seeing what effect this has on my career. I am also proud to announce that I appeared at Visual Art Scotland's Centenary Show at the Royal Academy in Edinburgh. Workwise I have secured funding from the government as a new business start-up which will remove a few money worries for a couple of months at least (money update: I spent all my money on a business trip to London, became homeless then collaborated with an Italian film maker who made a documentary about me and arranged my first solo show in Camden). I also tend to keep my cool in stressful situations (except when I post my secrets on Instagram). Please consider me for the role advertised. You can find my contact details at the top of the page and if you want more of me there's a link to an interview I did for the Six Foot Gallery on my Instagram.
