Eugene Power London, United Kingdom
  Back to profiles

Eugene Power trained in fine art painting at Falmouth School of Art and University of East London and has worked as a lecturer in Adult and Further Education for over 25 years. His main practice is in painting, but he also works with photography, assemblage and collage.

Eugene Power has evolved a representational style that employs strong expressive colours. His paintings tell the inner story of existence and deal with duality; that beauty exists in relation to its opposite, not for its own sake. His work often comments on social, political and environmental issues.
