I come from a family of painters and studied Fine Art at 'A' Level. I have been painting landscapes regularly since 2013 and, having retired from a career in nursing in 2015, am now a full time artist, painting and drawing and have studied portraiture under Andres Jaroslavsky and Luke Thompson. I also hold classes in portraiture (both drawing and painting) and landscape painting around Leeds.
I paint landscapes in oils and acrylics and life drawing in pencil, charcoal and chalk and portraiture in oils and acrylics. I paint small landscapes on wood - usually oak as stand alone pieces. I have exhibited my paintings locally and nationally and have created an online exhibition of my work. I will take commissions.
