Keeley Robinson Art Carmarthenshire, United Kingdom
I am a multidisciplinary disabled female artist. An introverted extrovert that grew up on the Wirral, studied in Sheffield and moved to North Wales almost a decade ago, My work is varied yet has a cohesive style focusing on the themes wildlife, figurative and self expression.
Creating From the Soul I am a multidisciplinary artist based in North Wales, UK, and my practice is rooted in authenticity and vulnerability. Living with chronic health issues, I turn to art as a powerful means to alleviate physical pain and support my mental well-being. Creating has become not only a sanctuary for me but an essential part of my journey toward finding freedom and happiness. Through bold colours, intricate mark-making, and symbolic imagery—including faceless figures, swirling shapes, animals, and delicate floral motifs—I explore the complexities of the human experience. I delve into memories, dreams, conversations, relationships, and societal pressures, channelling these elements into works that are deeply personal. Every stroke I make is intentional, infused with meaning and emotion that I hope resonates with others. My creative process is instinctive and spiritual, allowing me to embrace spontaneity while working across diverse mediums such as acrylics, watercolours, printing, textiles, and inks. I aim to capture moments of magic and nuance in my work—whether it’s the serenity of a meadow or the vibrant energy of human connection. Nature is my endless inspiration, offering comfort and connection that drives my practice. Art is my way of connecting with people on a deeper level, offering spaces for reflection and emotional connection. I am passionate about encouraging others to embrace their true selves and honour their own journeys, especially those navigating challenges of their own. My work is colourful and soulful, infused with empathy and warmth, and often reflects a strong, feminine presence. While I am humbled by the support I’ve received and the opportunities to exhibit my work, I am excited to continue exploring new possibilities in my creative journey. I hope my art not only evokes emotional responses but also offers solace and a space for authenticity to those who engage with it.
