Life has taken me through many twists, turns and shifts during which my creative passion has ebbed and flowed but never faded. The last 5 years has seen my definitive return to art. Following an introduction to mixed media in the summer of 2018 I embarked on a 3 year intensive artistic study. Following this I moved to North Yorkshire to set up the Well House Haven Art Retreat venue

I work in mixed media and oil creating mainly abstract landscape paintings. I explore the local countryside to find inspirational views both large scale and at a macro level. I enjoy producing large painted sketches which are later edited and collaged to produce smaller works which I use as source material for abstract landscapes. I also work from memory but both methods aim to produce expressive works giving the feel of places and nature.
