Alec Shepley Wrexham, United Kingdom
  Back to profiles

Alec’s diverse modes of practice are an exploration into art’s purposeless purpose - in the hope of accessing ecologies of things and places with an ‘uncertain and spectral futurality’ …although he freely admits this all may be mistaken!

Alec’s artistic research has attracted funding from the Arts & Humanities Research Council; the British Council; the Arts Council of England; Wales Arts International; the Arts Council of Wales; and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council. His work has been exhibited widely, both nationally and internationally and is held in public and private collections in north America, Europe and Asia.
