I'm a newly rising artist, with a passion for nostalgia, landscape and portraiture. Originally from Lincolnshire . I currently work from my base in Sheffield .
Coming from the coast I have a passion for the beach and seascapes . Working mainly in water colour my landscapes focus on the drama of the land and sky . When I moved inland to the peak district, I fell in love with it's mix of limestone cliffs and gritstone crags. I adore capturing the play of light, more so at the suns rise and set. I also enjoy studying Portraiture from old photos, of family and ancestors young and old, from my family tree. And cathartic works of pets that I've loved and lost . My favourite medium for Portraiture is graphite ,and other dry mediums such as Conte crayon and pencil crayon.
