I am a tapestry weaver working from a small studio space at our family home in Hertfordshire.

A creative at heart, sharing my joy of nature. Following an education into art was a natural route to take and I very quickly chose textiles as my subject, studying constructed textiles and tapestry weaving for my degree. Tapestry weaving continues to keep me fascinated with it's endless challenges and possibilities. A love of lightplay has led me to weaving with monofilament fibres which I now source secondhand preferring to reuse, repurpose and recyle fibres. Garden life, local eco systems and sustainability are important to me . I create woven work inspired by natures beauty; a glimmer, a glimpse, the small and delicate that catches the eye and demands a closer look! Having spent most of my career in Arts Education working with schools and community groups as the education manager at the local arts centre, I now weave from my garden studio in North Hertfordshire continuing to run weaving workshops and courses for both adults and children of all ages and abilities along side developing and exhibiting my own artwork and delivering talks. A member of The British Tapestry Group, The Eastern Region Textiles Forum and various local arts organisations I regularly exhibit my woven art.
