Alexandra Campbell United Kingdom
Alexandra is an emerging photographer based in Nottingham, using 35mm film to create her work. She captures nature and abstract portraits that explore themes of connection, identity, and vulnerability.
I started my film photography journey in January 2024 after a short dabble with a DSLR in 2023 where I learnt the basics of setting up a camera manually. I am passionate about using 35mm film and will happily experiment with both colour and black and white emulsions. I love the aspect of making a creative decision before you have even made one photo and having that vision in mind with each frame.
I currently take all my photographs with a 50mm lens on either a Pentax MG or a Canon 650 however, I believe it is much less about your gear and much more about a playful and creative approach to making work.
