G George invites you to submit to Callback, a series of contemporary art events beginning in the Winter of 2016.
The only way to submit to Callback is to leave a message on the answer phone at 07495 163989.
Artists can leave messages which are:
* An audio work in itself
* A description of a physical work which can exist as an audio piece
* Instructions for a physical piece/act/drawing that 'surrogate artist' can produce, within reason. This could be an artist chosen by G George or a volunteer.
* Express interest in becoming a 'surrogate artist'.
The works should in some way consider the context and conditions of the open call ie submission via voicemail. It is wise to be mindful of the sound quality of a voicemail, more subtle sounds may be lost due to compression.
This is a rolling open call and therefore artists should not be alarmed if they do not hear back immediately, as they may be chosen for future events. You may submit work anonymously, but make sure to leave a name and email address if you wish to be credited.
You must have an account to send a message to the curator of this opportunity. Registering only takes a few moments. Once registered you'll be able to keep track of all of your submissions and get updates on upcoming opportunities.
