Sculpture@theGrove will be an outdoor sculpture exhibition showing new work in the attractive grounds of the Grove Hotel in Cromer from 28th June to 16th July 2025

 Cromer Artspace is a charity bringing art to Cromer for the benefit of residents and visitors.  

We aim to make art accessible to a wide range of people by presenting works in a variety of, sometimes unusual, spaces.

This has led us to set up Sculpture@ outdoor exhibitions.

The first of these will be Sculpture@the Grove, in the grounds of the Grove Hotel in Cromer, near the cliffs and the sea.

We also seek to support artist development, so there will be accompanying talks and events.

If we are successful in gaining Arts Council funding, we will pay selected artists.

We have a reputation for showing interesting high quality contemporary work, carefully selected and thoughtfully curated.

We expect to select about 20-30 pieces.

The selection panel consists of Desmond Brett and Srah Horton from Norwich University of the Arts, Rosy Gray from the Sainsbury Centre and Fiona Roberts, independent events manager.

Work can be for sale. We are looking for exciting high quality contemporary work.

The team organising this event has considerable experience in curation and events management.

There will be full risk assessments.

We will advertise widely and expect a high footfall from visitors to the Grove and those coming specifically for the exhibition. Cromer is a tourist destination. 

There will be a parallel exhibition of sculptors' drawings at Artspace on the Prom.
