Embroidery Artists Wanted - This exhibition is going to look at how people debate and explore what makes a "good" feminist on Twitter. Looking at sub-genres of feminism, White feminism, black feminism, trans and inter-sectional feminism. And explore why all these sub-genres of feminism have many debates and attack each other online. This whole exhibition will be embroidery art only.

Throughout the history of women's rights and the feminist movement, feminists have disagreed with other feminists. In the second wave feminist movement, the lesbian movement was not seen as a feminist agenda. Artist Hannah Wilkes who created performances with her body was seen as “too pretty” and “showing off” her good by other feminist artists.

Today a huge platform for women to express their feminist agenda is social media, Twitter being one of the biggest! Still today there is opposition and debates about what makes a "good" feminist.

This exhibition is going to look at how people debate and explore what makes a "good" feminist looking at subgenres of feminism, including White feminism, black feminism, trans and intersectional feminism on Twitter and explore why all these sub-genres of feminism have many debates and attack each other online.
