Figures and Forms - Free Open Call - Gallery Informal
Deadline: 22/02/2025City: Online | Region: Merseyside | Country: United Kingdom | Joshua Norwood
Figures and Forms is a FREE Online and Virtual Exhibition Open Call by Gallery Informal which invites artists to showcase their unfinished, sketches, scrapped or rejected figurative artworks (or artworks relating to the human body).
Gallery Informal is a project ran by the Meta Space Gallery to showcase artist sketches, unfinished works or projects, rejected work or scrapped work.
These works are usually not conventionally shown in an exhibition.
However, they give incite to viewers or collectors who may wish to see how the artist works or the steps the artist may take to create a finished work.
In 2025 it split from the Meta Space Gallery website and became a project on its own prior to being hosted on metaspacegallery.com from 2023 to 2024.
Successful Participants:
All successful participants will be notified on acceptance. We may ask a few questions before we accept your work into the exhibition to see if you’re a good fit for the exhibition.
All successful participants will be showcased on our new Gallery Informal Instagram account, our virtual and online exhibitions on the Gallery Informal website.
Fees:
There is no submission or participation fee for this opportunity. However, if you apply with up to 2 artworks—a fee of £5 per artwork will apply after the second if you are accepted.
