Deadline: 31/03/2025City: London | Region: London | Country: United Kingdom | D Contemporary
D Contemporary Open Call and Award is designed to provide emerging and early mid-career artists of all ages and nationalities with the opportunity to showcase their work while receiving support to develop and enhance their practice within our contemporary art gallery in London. Finalists of the open call will participate in a group exhibition at our Mayfair gallery and benefit from press exposure. Additionally, one winner will receive a solo exhibition, dedicated mentorship, and extensive press coverage in 2025/2026.
Subject: FULL DISCLOSURE
The zeitgeist of our time compels us to reveal our true selves, our genuine expressions—a complete disclosure powered by the liberation of exposure.
In an era defined by hyperconnectivity, digital transparency, and an ever-increasing demand for accountability, the concept of full disclosure has taken on an urgent and profound significance.
This complex yet powerful term reflects a collective hunger for authenticity, a shared yearning to dismantle facades and confront uncomfortable truths.
Full disclosure has the potential to transform vulnerability into solidarity and secrecy into change.
However, the challenge lies in finding balance: wielding this force for justice and connection while guarding against its misuse.
As individuals and as a society, we are called to navigate this delicate dance of truth, ensuring that what we reveal strengthens the fabric of our shared humanity rather than tearing it apart.
To celebrate another year of artistic exploration, we are issuing an open call to artists across the globe to reveal their true selves through their creative practices. As always, we aim to discover, showcase, and support eclectic talents worldwide.
A New Format for 2025
This year, our annual open call introduces a new format. A selection of artists will have the opportunity to showcase their work in a group exhibition at our gallery.
A jury of influential art professionals will then select one standout artist from this exhibition to receive a solo exhibition, dedicated mentorship, and press coverage in 2025/6
We welcome submissions in all forms and media, and the judging panel will curate the exhibition to best suit our unique space in the heart of Mayfair, London.
