Grief Letter - An invitation to write to your loss.

'Grief Letter' project was launched in 2021 and since then was open to public as an opportunity to write a letter to your loss, helping to promote grief support.

It is supported by the Arts Council England and will be moving into the next stage of development. I was honored to receive over 130 letters from all over the world since the start of the project and this is the final call for those who are interested to write such letter, to participate.

The letters and my creative response to them will be exhibited in the exhibition on summer 2025 in St Albans, Hertforshire as part of the holistic event on loss.

This concept grew out of my own experience of loss, coping with grief and finding light ahead. The process of writing has long been proven to have healing properties. Writing down and materialising thoughts helps release tension, organise mental chaos and decipher traumatic triggers.

Writing the letter addressed to the deceased is a powerful way of diving into subconscious, processing memories, closing some chapters, asking for forgiveness or advice, expressing anger or regrets or just putting your thoughts down without overthinking.

Please submit this form to request the Grief Letter pack providing your mailing address so the pack is sent to you in the post.  NOTE: Your letters must be returned by 01/08/24.
