OPEN CALL: 'HABITATS" - SCULPTURE AND OUTDOOR ARTWORK EXHIBITION AT GLENMORANGIE CADBOLL HOUSE, TAIN Deadline to apply 11.59pm Sunday 18th August 2024 Exhibition dates: Saturday 24th -Sunday 25th August 2024. 10am-6pm

APPLICATIONS OPEN NOW *Please read all information below before submitting an application*

Nature Galleries have teamed up with the Glenmorangie Cadboll House to create a Sculpture and outdoor artwork installation exhibition in amongst their stunning walled garden.

This is the first show of its kind located at Cadboll House and is a great opportunity for artists and sculptors wanting to expand their exposure out of their current area and exhibit in an established hotel with links to an internationally known Whisky distillery.

Our goal is to create exhibitions with themes of environmental conservation that are not only aesthetic but educational.

Artists are encouraged to challenge their use of material and concept to fit the title of exhibition "Habitats".

We are looking for work drawing on environmental conservation of habitats and the beings that live amongst them:
Aquatic, Polar, Tundra, Evergreen Forests, Seasonal Forests, Grasslands, Deserts, Rainforests, and Oceans.

While it is not compulsory, work is encouraged to be sustainable with ethically sourced materials.

There will be an opening night on Saturday, 24th August, 6-10 pm for Business partners of Glenmorangie, the artists and guests with options for a 3-course meal (limited spaces available, so bookings are advised through Cadboll House).

There will be a "Sculpture Scavenger Hunt", consisting of smaller works for children attendees. Artists are welcome to donate smaller, inexpensive works as part of the sculpture hunt.

Zoom meetings/Studio Visits can be arranged to discuss on a one-to-one basis :)
