Bobby Dazzler & Louise Duggan, the artist duo behind Tea, Coffee & Tequila are back with a brand new exhibition at the Oxmarket Contemporary but first, they need you.

From now until November TCT are running an Open Call to capture a snapshot of what’s happening in the UK artworld Here + Now.

Artists from all levels and backgrounds and working across any medium are encouraged to enter the Open Call.

‘’We’re going to fill the gallery to the brim with incredible art and showcase as many artists as we can in this fantastic space,’’ says Bobby.

The Oxmarket Contemporary is a prestigious art gallery in the heart of Chichester.

Surrounded by an art-loving public keen to purchase high quality art.

With the exhibition running throughout December, it will be the perfect chance for art lovers to find that special gift for a loved one, or simply treat themselves!

- Entry fee £15.

- Size limits - All 2D, wall hung work must be no larger than 45cm x 65cm (either orientation is fine). All 3D work must safely fit within a 40cm square plinth.

- Submission Deadline - 4 pm Saturday 2nd November 2024

- Successful Entrants notified - Friday 8th November 2024

- We require a £5 admin fee from all successful entrants to secure their place in the exhibition

- Exhibition at Oxmarket Contemporary - 10th - 23rd December (open daily)

- Artwork drop off week - 3rd-8th December 2024 (this can be in person or by courier delivery)

- Any sold works incur a 50% commission fee.

- Unsold works to be collected 6th-10th January 2025 (this can be in person or by courier collection)

The following submission fees apply to this opportunity.

  • Entry fee £15 - 15.00 GBP

The appropriate fee will be payable using a debit or credit card after the first submission has been completed. If the submission fee allows you to submit more than once, you will be able to make further submissions after the first. Anyone over the age 18 who is a current practising artist.

How much does it cost?
Submissions to enter cost £15.



A £5 admin fee will be required from all successful applicants chosen for the exhibition to help with marketing and running costs.
Are there payments to artists?
Yes, artists will receive 50% of asking price on sold artwork (50% commission). Funds will be paid week commencing 6th January 2025.
Is there a private view / opening?
Yes. Date TBC.
What are the exhibition opening hours?
10 am - 4 pm Monday - Sunday.
Does the location have disabled access?
Yes.
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
An extensive social media campaign on Instagram & Facebook.

A print media campaign with flyers, posters and local press coverage.
Do I need to be present?
No. We'd love you to attend, but the venue is fully staffed and does not require you to be present throughout the exhibition.
How do you decide on proposals?
This is an open call with an open theme, and we are looking to represent as many artists, styles, mediums and subjects as possible. Judges will be looking for work of quality and that is deemed gallery worthy.
What happens if my proposal is chosen?
Successful entrants will be notified by Friday 8th November 2024. They will then be required to pay the £5 admin feee by 22nd November to secure their place in the exhibition.
Artwork will then need to be dropped off between 3rd -8th December.
