Open Call For All Artist: INTERGRADE
Deadline: 02/04/2025City: london | Region: London | Country: United Kingdom | Janelle Xu
We sincerely invite artists to participate in this group exhibition exploring the boundary between the virtual and the real world, the artificial and the natural.
ABOUT THE THEME
As the boundary between the virtual and the real grows increasingly ambiguous and the relationship between the artificial and the natural is continuously redefined, we are entering an era of hybrid reality.
Emerging technologies are reshaping individual experiences, fundamentally altering our understanding of authenticity and selfhood.
This exhibition delves into critical discussions surrounding identity in the post-human era, digital belief systems, the limits of consciousness, and the paradox of free will.
As human-technology entanglement deepens, how do we redefine the self within this interwoven reality?
When data, algorithms, and bio-enhancement become the new norm, are we inevitably moving toward an era of cyborg faith?
This Exhibition Explores "INTERGRADE" Through Three Themes:
Decentralisation – As identities shift and fragment, how do we redefine the self beyond human centrality?
Unnatural – With technology reshaping ecosystems and genetics, has it become the new nature?
Transcendental Sociality – As reality blurs, is technology creating new belief systems and digital divinity?
