Call for Submissions: "Literary Muse" – An Artistic Dialogue influenced by Literature We are thrilled to announce an open call for submissions to our 50th issue, "Literary Muse" a celebration of the symbiotic relationship between visual art and the written word. We invite artists and writers to explore the profound impact that poems, prose, and the written word have on our creative consciousness

For our 50th issue, we seek to showcase works born from the depths of literary influence.

Whether it's a painting inspired by the haunting imagery of a poem, a sculpture that captures the essence of a beloved novel, or a short story sparked by a single evocative line of prose, we want to see how the written word fuels your artistic vision.

Submission Guidelines

•           Visual Art: Each artist may submit up to three pieces of visual art. These can be paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography, digital art, or any other visual medium. Each piece should be accompanied by a brief statement (150 words max) detailing the literary work that inspired it.

•           Written Work: Each writer may submit one piece of written work. This can be a short story, an essay, a poem, or any other form of prose. The submission should include a statement (150 words max) explaining the visual art or literary work that inspired your writing.

How to Submit

1.         Prepare Your Work: Ensure your visual art pieces are high-quality images (JPEG) and your written work is in a readable format ( Word documents only).

2.         Inspiration Statement: Write a brief description for each submitted piece, explaining the literary inspiration behind your creation.

3.         Submission Form: Complete the submission form, providing your contact information, artwork/writing, and the corresponding statements.

Selected works will be featured on our Instagram gallery and on our website to reach a wider audience.
