A contemporary Gallery operating here in the centre of Newcastle run by the member at inspired Support. The gallery is run and maintained by our clients here at inspired, both Digitally and physically by clients at inspired.
The gallery will give our clients the chance to connect to the wider art community here in the northeast of England.
We do this by giving a platform to artists and creatives to show work and projects to broaden their knowledge, opportunity to learn, gain skills in the arts, etc.
That can only come from being involved in the arts and showings.
The gallery and our client’s involvement would be that they would be the ones tasked with curating and acting as a gallerist, as well as handling, the promotion and media around shows.
Handling social media, promotion and branding of the space the artist our showing in and their projects. How to get it to a wider art community and how you create a collective feel/brand.
Our clients are part of the selection process, making clients engage in critically engaging discussions around the arts/artworks and how it would look to develop a further understanding of their own practice/contemporary theory as a whole.
Who:
We're keen to work with all artists who are in any stage of their artistic career on this opportunity.
Artists can be of any age or educational background, and we wouldn't expect you to have had a mainstream platform for your work before.
But we do require you to have an understanding of the art and be able to talk about your work conceptually.
